Winter TBR: January – February

Welcome to my post! Today I wanted to share some books I’m interested in reading during the rest of winter. There are a few seasonal books but most of them are either ARCs being released soon, or books I received recently. Also, this is a very loose TBR: my birthday is in February so there might be a few more books I want to read that I don’t own now, and I also have some formatives due in February for uni, so I don’t know how much I’ll actually read but I can still make an overly ambitious TBR anyway!

ARCs

I really set myself up for failure by requesting so many ARCs being released in January and February, but these are some that I really want to get to soon. All the White Spaces is the only wintery one, and it’s a horror set during an Antarctic expedition which sounds so cool. I talked about Violeta and Daughter of the Moon Goddess in my January 2022 Releases post, and The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea is one coming up in my February releases!

Physical/Kindle

I’m not sure if I’ll get to No Longer Human this winter, and since it’s about depression I’m not sure if it’s the best time to read it either, but I’ve been meaning to read it for so long. Hopefully I will actually get to The Black Flamingo, which is in verse, and A Dowry of Blood, which is pretty short, so they’ll probably be easier to read.

Lastly I have these two books which were both from my Christmas haul! Do You Dream of Terra-Two is a long one so who knows if I’ll finish it but it is the only book I own that fits the February Buzzwordathon prompt (pronouns and possession). I also want to squeeze in The Hollow Places. I’m still not entirely sure what it’s about but I know it’s a sort of fantasy horror and the cover looks spooky and wintery so perfect for this TBR!

That’s it for my TBR, let’s hope I can get to some of these? What’s on your TBR this month or season?
