Weekly Wrap Up: 19/04-25/04

Welcome to another Sunday wrap up where I share how my week and reading has gone!

My Week

Second week of exams gone and I’m exhausted but I’ve been getting back grades from my first week and I’m on track so hopefully I can keep it up! I started running at college three times a week and it’s tough after doing no exercise for a long time so I’m extra tired from that! I’ve been able to relax a little bit though and start new series that I’ve been so excited for! I finally started Pose, and Shadow and Bone and Glow Up Series 3 have just been released. I’m trying not to binge Shadow and Bone but it’s taking a lot of restraint. I’m enjoying it so far, especially the amount of crows’ screen time!

This week, I shared memorable endings in my Book Ending Awards post. Watch out for my May TBR and April Wrap Up next week!

My Week in Books

I finished The Ones We’re Meant to Find and gave it 4 stars. I’m very behind on ARC reviews at the moment so I haven’t quite formulated my final thoughts on this, but I thought it was a clever book with an interesting plot and a great sibling bond!

I finally finished The Only Good Indians which I’ve be meaning to do for weeks. I did enjoy the audiobook but the way I read it over a long period of time meant I was forgetting the plot and characters. Also after about 40% the book changed perspective and it kind of lost me after that with other characters that I didn’t really care about. I think this is probably a 3.5 stars but I’m not completely decided.

Next I’m reading Siege and Storm alongside the Shadow and Bone series! I think the series is making me enjoy the book more because it’s easier to imagine the palace and characters and just brought the whole thing to life, but by itself it’s not the best thing I’ve read. I’m only about 60% through so we’ll see how it turns out.

Thanks for reading! How was your week?
