Welcome to my Sunday wrap up post for my week and reading!
My Week
Today has been a pretty nice week. It was my sister and my mum’s birthdays so even though they couldn’t spend it with their friends, we’ve been having lockdown celebrations instead! I managed to get most of my college work done so I’ve had more time to relax this weekend. I’ve been participating in more reading sprints on YouTube, which has made me read a lot more!
My Week in Books
I finished The Fifth Season! This was such a great fantasy and I’m desperate to read the rest of the series soon. It’s such an interesting world and I can’t wait to explore it more. The characters are unique too and the social commentary on racism and oppression is really powerful. I rated it 5 stars!
I also started Into the Drowning Deep and I’m about halfway through. I didn’t know what to expect going in but I’m really enjoying it so far! It’s a slow start but I’m already attached to all the characters so the sense of foreboding up to about 150 pages was real. Now I’m at the action and I’m scared how this will end!
