This week I’m joining Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly list based on the prompt picked by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s theme is book covers with autumn colours/vibes.
Clink on the titles to find out more about the book on goodreads ❤
The Year of the Gadfly: I think this is a dark academia but the cover is a bit deceiving (it looks more like a historical fiction?). Either way, the autumn vibes are definitely there and it actually has colour!
The Goldfinch: So this one sounds really sad but I’m looking forward to reading it in November (if I can read it in one month – it’s over 700 words!). I’ve heard very mixed reviews though, some love it and some aren’t that interested, so hopefully my high expectations don’t ruin it.
Winterwood: Even though it’s got winter in the title, this book cover seems more like an autumn read to me. A YA fantasy with romance and dark fairy tales sells it for me.
The Only Good Indians: I’m so disappointed that I can’t read this horror for October, but hopefully I can get my hands on it soon. I’ve heard a lot of great things about it and I haven’t read much by indigenous authors so it’s got high priority on my TBR list.
The Ship of Shadows: Another colourful cover thank god! I can’t say I’ve read that many middle-grade pirate stories so I’m definitely intrigued by the premise.
The Shadows: I was drawn to this by the cover and I don’t know how much I’d like the actual book but look at how cool the cover is!!
Thanks for reading! Do you like autumn?
