The Questions:

What is a trope you can’t help but love, even though it’s overused?

Most people I know actually like this one as well, but enemies to lovers! It’s overused but it’s cute and a classic and you can’t change my mind.

Describe your perfect quarantine day!

Basically my normal day but without the work and stress. I’d spend the morning writing blog posts and maybe even creative writing. I’d read all afternoon then get a takeaway (Chinese or Domino’s are my favouritee). At night I;d binge YouTube and start all the new series I haven’t yet on Netflix (The Umbrella Academy and Hollywood are next!). So basically, a very lazy day. 😊

If you could have any fictional pet, what would you choose?

Boo from Aru Shah! He’s a sarcastic pigeon/centuries old sorcerer who acts tough but is secretly cute and likes hugs.

What is your favourite and least favourite thing about blogging?

My favourite things are sharing my thoughts and the community. I love talking to people and doing tags like this!! My least favourite thing is having a schedule because I’m really bad at sticking to things but at the same time it’s probably good for me.

If you were stranded on a deserted island all alone, which fictional character and which author would you choose to join you and why?

The first character I thought of was Circe! She is a witch and goddess and was literally exiled on a deserted island for most of her life so she’s the perfect person. For the author I’d say Rebecca F Kuang because then I could get The Burning God early. 😂

Describe your favourite book using emojis or GIFs, but don’t tell us what it is. Let’s see if someone can guess it in the comments!

🎶👠

Can you guess what it is? That was really bad, hopefully someone knows what I mean 😂

If you could have any character from a book teach you one skill, what would you learn and who would be your mentor?

I definitely want a superpower or magic so let’s pretend its not inherited and get

Have you ever dressed up as a character from a book?

I have at school when I was younger for World Book Days and also at a Scouts camp once? The one’s that I can remember are Harry Potter, Hedwig and Katniss Everdeen. I’m glad I don’t have the pictures!!

What book are you proudest of forcing on other people? (For their own good, of course…)

As soon as I read The Poppy War I told everyone I know IRL to read it. That reminds me, I was going to write a review for it! If I ever get round to it I will or after I’ve read The Dragon Republic maybe.

What is your favourite blog post that you’ve ever written and why?

I’m not sure actually, I liked the book aesthetics post but that’s not really writing so does it count? I also love planning readathons and my monthly reads so they’re fun to write too.

Which post that someone else wrote have you enjoyed recently?

I love book recommendations posts so I’ll tag a few that I’ve seen recently:

  1. I love the enemies to lovers trope too😭. They’re my weakness in the romance genre, do you have any good recommendations? I loved reading your answers and okay what book is 🎶👠? Couldn’t guess it.

    Thanks for nominating me❤.

  2. Such great answers! I also love the enemies to lovers trope; there can never be enough books with it! 😊
I think Circe would go on my nerves if I had to be on an island with her, though – she can be so whiny and unforgiving 😅 But she’d definitely know how to keep you guys alive, so I guess she is a pretty good choice 😉
And I have no idea about your favorite book… Does it have something to do with ballet, maybe? 🤔
